How to make a Google review QR code
Copy your review link
Open your Google Business Profile, choose "Ask for reviews" or "Get more reviews", and copy the link it gives you.
Paste it into the generator
Paste the link in the box above. The preview updates right away.
Download, test and print
Scan the code with your phone. It should open your review form. Then print it for your counter, receipts or table cards.
Why a QR code beats “find us on Google”
Most people mean to leave a review and then forget. Asking them to search for your business, scroll to the reviews and find the button loses most of them along the way. A code skips all of that. One scan and the star rating form is open on their phone.
Where to put it
Put the code where customers are when they feel good about you:
- On the counter or next to the card reader
- On receipts and invoices
- On table cards in a restaurant or cafe
- On a thank-you card in delivery boxes
- In the corner of a menu or a flyer
Add a short line next to it, like “Enjoyed your visit? Leave us a review.” People are more likely to scan when they know what it does.
Use the official link
Always use the link Google gives you, not a link you build yourself from a Maps page. The official link opens the review form directly, and it keeps working when Google changes its pages. If you paste a link that is not from Google, the generator will warn you, just in case you copied the wrong thing.
Print tips
Make the code at least 3 cm (about 1.2 in) wide on a counter sign, and bigger on a wall or window. Keep it dark on a light background. Before printing a batch, scan it with both an iPhone and an Android phone if you can.
Find your review link in a minute
- Sign in to Google with the account that manages your business.
- Search for your business name on Google, or open your Business Profile.
- Choose Ask for reviews (sometimes shown as Get more reviews).
- Copy the short link it shows. It usually starts with
g.page/r/. - Paste it into the generator above and download your code.
Get more reviews from the same code
- Ask in person. A code works best when someone says “we’d love a review” and points to it.
- Catch the right moment. Receipts, takeaway bags, the bill folder and follow-up emails reach people right after a good experience.
- Say what happens. “Scan to leave us a Google review” beats a bare code. People scan more when they know where it leads.
Questions people ask
Where do I find my Google review link?
Sign in to Google with the account that manages your business, search for your business name, and choose "Ask for reviews". Google shows a short link you can copy. It usually starts with g.page.
Will the code stop working?
No. This is a static code that holds your link directly. It keeps working as long as Google keeps that review link active for your business.
Can I add my logo?
Yes. Open "Colors, size and logo" and upload it. The logo stays on your device. Error correction is raised to High so the code still scans.
Is it allowed to ask for reviews with a QR code?
Yes, asking customers for reviews is fine. Google's rules forbid offering rewards for reviews and only asking happy customers to post them, so make the request open to everyone.
Does Google have its own review QR code?
Yes. Your Business Profile can show a basic QR code under "Ask for reviews". Making your own from the same link lets you choose the size, colors and logo, and download SVG for sharp printing.
Can I offer a discount for leaving a review?
No. Google's review policies do not allow incentives such as discounts or freebies in exchange for reviews, and they also forbid asking only happy customers. Ask everyone, and offer nothing in return.
Do I need a new code if my business moves?
Usually not. The review link belongs to your Business Profile, not your address, so it keeps working after you update the profile. Scan the code once after any big profile change to be sure.
